I was in response for creation of web-based user interface for one of the company products (134ms.com). As a team lead I've described tasks for

exchange and translate video. It has been created in 2006 and rapidly grown up so that, at 2009,
Rutube served more than 400 000 users daily and more than 37 million video views monthly.
Rutube provides video translation capabilities for some of the biggest Russian TV channels
and radio stations and allows creation of video blogs and personal virtual channels.
Many partners choose Rutube to enable video capabilities on their own sites.
- As a sole developer, I've worked on rutube.ru performance optimization (mostly server-side, but includes client side too).
Results include reducing average load of a back-end server approximately 4 times and decreasing page load time in approximately 3 times.
- As a sole developer integrated support of a new video-container and codec formats to a video balancing application.
- Working in a team, fixed multiple (tens and hundreds) bugs, left from a previous team.
- Participated in development of a work flow for web development department.

- As a developer and team lead, started and
accomplished project on redesigning main page of Rambler Search engine
(http://www.rambler.ru/). This includes rewriting software “from scratch” in a very short time,
being prepared to a very high load and high availibility simultaneously.
- Started and successfully released project of geolocation system to
use with other Rambler projects. Geolocation system finds out
user location and provides him/her with personalized information for
that location.
- Implemented tags, folders and group operations on favorites for Rambler-Favorites project
(http://zakladki.rambler.ru/).
